The Amarillo Railroad Museum, Inc. throughly researched this unique car to be able to bring you a very interesting addition to the modern era HO scale layout! In 1979, the Santa Fe long term leased 100 of these 4750 cubic foot, Pullman-Standard built, outside ribbed hoppers in the grey paint with blue "Santa Fe" herald from North American Car Company. Though similar to the Mineral Brown Ga-180 class, these hoppers were put into their own Ga-905 class by Santa Fe. Just like the prototype, the remainder of the reporting marks are in black. These cars will also feature the correct lettering on the ends and hopper bottoms (which is proving to be a real chore, as the prototype data is hard to come by! If we verify it on the prototype, its on there!) To further bring you only the finest scale model, the ARM is adding authentic scale metal running boards to InterMountain's usual excellent work, and because this proves to be one of the more difficult cars to build, the car will come only Ready-to-Run!
