Bill Stephens was a Santa Fe fireman and engineer that worked from the last days of steam until the mid-1980s. Bill graciously gave us access to his timebooks from the 1950s and 1960s which we transposed.  They are an incredible source of day-to-day operations and motive power (steam and diesel) usage during his years on the Santa Fe in the Panhandle.  Do some delving into the records to find fascinating experiences Bill had on the railroad.
