Joining the Amarillo Railroad Museum, Inc., has never been easier! There are four levels of membership: Regular, Student, Family and Internet.
The Regular member receives all benefits of the organization, including full voting and operating privileges, key access to the model railroad and museum, TEN PERCENT DISCOUNT on all ARM products and clothing, and the monthly newsletter, Run 8. Only $25 per month dues! There is a one-time $100 initiation fee which can be made in four monthly payments added to your dues. So you'd pay $50/month four four months, then drop to the standard $25/month.
The Student Monthly member is a lower priced membership without voting privileges for those who have not yet graduated from high school. Student members have access anytime another Regular Monthly member is present. Only $5 per month! No initiation fee.

The Family Monthly member receives all benefits of regular membership. Only $30 per month dues! The initiation fee applies. A family includes the voting member, spouse, children and grandchildren under 18.
The Internet Annual membership is for those who want to be part of the organization but who cannot regularly attend due to distance, health or other reasons approved by the board of directors. Internet members receive early access to the terrific ARM scale models before they are offered to the general public. Internet members also receive a 10% discount of museum products, and are more than welcome to occasionally drop by to run trains or just visit. Internet members also receive e-mail notice of new offerings, an exclusive ARM membership card, and Run 8! Great for the out of town modeler! Super value at only $20 per year!

Your membership in the Amarillo Railroad Museum, Inc. means more than fellowship and fun! It also means that you are committed to helping us preserve the incredible railroad history of the Texas Panhandle! The ARM is wholly a volunteer organization, and every dollar goes directly to support our activities. Already, we have full sized exhibits to restore and display, a building to house a model railroad, and numerous other worthy tasks. Won't you join now? At first glance, our monthly dues may seem high, but there are good reasons for the rates. We want members who are committed to the success of the museum. By pursuing this commitment, we have been able to buy land, construct a building, build a scale model railroad, preserve railroad equipment and artifacts, and build a library in a relatively short period of time. We are completely debt-free and we own our land and building free and clear. Many organizations such as ours are in a building owned by a member, or leased from a strip mall, or some other such arrangement. They often find themselves "kicked out" of the building, left to start all over again. This cannot happen to us! We are here to stay!

Student Membership
Monthly Student Membership in the ARM
Student Membership is open to younger members who have not yet graduated from high school or college. Student members receive a terrific Amarillo Railroad Museum, Inc. membership card; free access to the model railroad and the museum when accompanied by an adult member; introduction to an adult mentor member to help develop the student member's skills and modeling talent. This membership is non-voting.
Make your membership a "Family Affair!
Great for dads and sons, moms and daughters, spouses, whatever combination you like. For just an additional $5.00/month why not make your membership in the ARM a family affair? Our family membership makes it easy for your whole family to join the fun. One member has voting privileges, but all get to participate in all our functions, receive the custom car discount, and receive "Run 8". Only one catch, children must be under 18. In this age of rampant liability claims, this is the only way children under 18 can join. Kids over 18 can join as regular or student members. There is a one-time in initiation fee of $100.

Annual Internet Membership in the ARM
Internet Membership in the Amarillo Rail Museum, Inc. is for those who want to have access to the model railroad and museum on a reduced fee basis, and who want early notice of ARM offerings. Internet members receive an exclusive Amarillo Railroad Museum, Inc. membership card; access to the model railroad and museum when accompanied by an adult regular member at a reduced fee of only one dollar per session; the ARM publication, "Run 8", and early Internet notice of new offerings before public notice. This membership is limited to those who reside more than 100 miles from Amarillo, Texas. This is a great value for only $20 per year!
