Lots of activity recently. On November 1st, the Amarillo Railroad Museum and the Santa Fe Railroad Historical Museum boards of directors had a joint meeting at the ARM headquarters. A lot of good discussions were had, and we were treated to lunch and a presentation by Patrick Pritchett from Lubbock on his experiences with the restoration of Santa Fe 4-8-4 2926 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Thanks Patrick!
A group of ARM members are heading to Oklahoma City from November 14-16 to the annual train show. We will have a group of booths selling a large amount of new and old railroad models, artifacts, books, and other nice items. Stop by and see us if you attend. We also have a surprise this year . . .?
We have a new custom car in the works. Working for the first time with Rapido Trains, we plan to offer variations on a car they have in design. No release date as of yet. Stay tuned. Remember, ARM members get a 10% discount on our merchandise.
